Re-Use und Reparatur für Ressourcenschonung. Es gilt das Motto: "Reparieren statt wegwerfen".
Jeden 2. und 4. Donnerstag im Monat reparieren ehrenamtlich tätige Menschen Alltags-, Haushalts- und Unterhaltungsgeräte gegen freie Spende, um Gegenstände, die in reparierter Form durchaus gebrauchsfähig sind, vor dem vorzeitigen Ende auf einer Mülldeponie zu bewahren.
Oft ist es nur eine Kleinigkeit, und das Gerät funktioniert wieder. Manches Mal muss länger getüftelt werden, bis der Fehler gefunden und das Gerät wieder funktionsbereit ist. Doch dabei kann man auch Lernen! Die temporär eingerichtete "Gemeinschaftswerkstatt" ist der optimale Raum für gegenseitige Unterstützung und kommunikativen Austausch.
Mit jedem reparierten Gerät, mit jedem zufriedenen Kunden wächst das Gefühl, einen sinnvollen Beitrag gegen die Wegwerfgesellschaft geleistet zu haben.

Re-use and repair to conserve resources. The motto is: "Repair instead of throwing away ". Every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, volunteers repair everyday, household and entertainment devices for a free donation, in order to save objects that are completely usable in repaired form from premature end on a landfill. Often it is just a small thing and the device works again. Sometimes it takes longer to tinker around until the error is found and the device is functional again. But you can also learn! The temporarily set up "community workshop" is the ideal space for mutual support and communicative exchange. With every repaired device, with every satisfied customer, the feeling of having made a meaningful contribution against the throwaway society grows.
