Am 6. Oktober findet dieses Jahr wieder ein Aktionstag in der HBLA Oberwart statt. Schüler*innen der 3. Jahrgänge haben sich im Naturwissenschaftsunterricht intensiv mit dem Thema Nachhaltigkeit beschäftigt und in Teams ihre individuellen Ideen und Visionen in Bezug auf die Zukunft unseres Planeten besprochen, analysiert und auf unterschiedliche Art und Weise visualisiert. Die Endprodukte werden am Aktionstag bei einem „Marktplatz der Ideen“ in der Aula der Schule ausgestellt bzw. gezeigt werden - es geht um regionales und saisonales Kochen, Verminderung von Plastikmüll, Slow Fashion uvm. In Vorbereitung sind Informationskampagnen, interaktive Tafeln und auch Videos. Das große Ziel aller Teams ist, dass sie ihren Beitrag leisten wollen, um vielen Jugendlichen die vorherrschenden, negativen Auswirkungen der Klimaveränderung bewusst zu machen aber gleichzeitig auch Möglichkeiten anbieten, diese zu stoppen - jeder und jede für sich auf die eigene Art und in kleinen Schritten. In der Aktionswoche wird beim Mittagstisch der Schule zwei Mal ein veganes Menü angeboten werden, es gibt einen „ bringyourownbottle-day“ und auch eine Mitmach-Challenge zum Thema „richtig Müll trennen“. Die Jugendlichen haben im Austausch und in partizipatorischen Arbeitsprozessen sehr gut verstanden, dass zuerst die Verhältnisse geändert werden müssen, damit Menschen ihr Verhalten ändern.
Um dem wichtigen Aspekt „Nachhaltigkeit“ gerecht zu werden, wird während des ganzen Schuljahres mindestens zwei Mal pro Woche ein veganes Menü angeboten werden, es sind weitere Workshops mit Expert*innen geplant und auch eine monatliche Challenge passend zum Thema, die von den Jugendlichen konzipiert und organisiert wird.
Unsere Schüler*innen sind innovativ, engagiert, wissbegierig, neugierig, kreativ und wollen ihren Beitrag für ihre gesunde Zukunft leisten.

On October 6, an action day will take place again this year at the HBLA Oberwart. Students of the 3rd grade have intensively dealt with the topic of sustainability in science classes and have discussed, analyzed and visualized in different ways their individual ideas and visions regarding the future of our planet in teams. The final products will be exhibited or shown on the day of action at a "marketplace of ideas" in the school auditorium - it is about regional and seasonal cooking, reduction of plastic waste, slow fashion and much more. In preparation are information campaigns, interactive boards and also videos. The main goal of all teams is to make their contribution to make many young people aware of the prevailing, negative effects of climate change, but at the same time offer ways to stop it - each in his or her own way and in small steps. In the action week a vegan menu will be offered twice at the lunch table of the school, there is a " bringyourownbottle-day" and also a Challenge to the topic "right garbage separate". The young people have understood very well in the exchange and in participatory work processes that first the circumstances must be changed so that people change their behavior. In order to do justice to the important aspect of "sustainability", a vegan menu will be offered at least twice a week throughout the school year, further workshops with experts are planned and also a monthly challenge in line with the theme, which will be designed and organized by the young people. Our students are innovative, committed, inquisitive, curious, creative and want to make their contribution to their healthy future.
