Foodsharing: Lebensmittelpakete für Menschen in Not
Beschreibung:
Menschen in Not mit Lebensmitteln und Kleidung zu versorgen, steht im Zentrum der Arbeit vom ADRA Sozialzentrum Wien - Säulengasse. Lebensmittel, die aus Überproduktionen der Lebensmittelindustrie oder nicht verkauften Waren des Lebensmitteleinzelhandels stammen, werden von ADRA gesammelt und zu Lebensmittelpaketen zusammengefasst und einmal wöchentlich an bedürftige Menschen in Wien abgegeben. ADRA ist Partner von Foodsharing Wien und verschenkt Lebensmittel, die nicht an bedürftige Menschen verteilt werden konnten. Dass keine Lebensmittel weggeworfen werden, ist uns ein wichtiges Anliegen. Verteilung von Kleidung an Menschen in Not und Upcycling von Altkleidung ist ein weiterer Zweig unserer Arbeit.

Providing people in need with food and clothing is the focus of the work of the ADRA Social Centre Vienna - Säulengasse. Food that comes from overproduction in the food industry or unsold goods of the food retail trade is collected by ADRA and combined into food packages and distributed to needy people in Vienna once a week. ADRA is a partner of Foodsharing Vienna and gives away food that could not be distributed to needy people. That no food is thrown away is an important concern for us. Distribution of clothes to people in need and upcycling of old clothes is another branch of our work.
