Natur-Kleinode im March-Thaya-Raum
Beschreibung:
Wichtige Organisationen der Region – Storchenhaus, Maschinenring, WUK bio.schafe und Auring - sorgen seit 2019 im Rahmen des Kleinode-Projektes und darüber hinaus für die naturschutzfachlich wertvollen Flächen. Die Exkursion führt zu zwei Kleinoden und zeigt ihre Naturschätze. Interessierte erfahren, was für die Erhaltung wichtig ist und welche Bedeutung Sutten als Lebensraum haben. Schwenden, Beweidung und fachgerechtes Ringeln von Robinien werden als Maßnahmen für den Erhalt von wertvollem Offenland erläutert. Die Zukunft dieser Natur-Kleinode liegt in nachhaltigen Sicherungsstrategien, die gemeinsam mit der Region weiterentwickelt werden sollen. Wir freuen uns deshalb besonders über GrundeigentümerInnen, GemeindevertreterInnen, BauhofmitarbeiterInnnen, BehördenvertreterInnen, VertreterInnen von Erhaltungs- und Pflegevereinen und LandwirtInnen, die uns begleiten.

Important organizations in the region - Storchenhaus, Maschinenring, WUK bio.schafe and Auring - have been taking care of the valuable nature conservation areas since 2019 as part of the Kleinode project and beyond. The excursion leads to two gems and shows their natural treasures. Interested parties can find out what is important for conservation and the importance of suttas as a habitat. Grazing and professional ringing of robinia are explained as measures for the preservation of valuable open land. The future of these natural gems lies in sustainable security strategies that are to be further developed together with the region. We are therefore particularly pleased about landowners, community representatives, building yard employees, representatives of authorities, representatives of conservation and care associations and farmers who accompany us.
