Klima-Kampagne #timeforchange

Mit ihrer Kampagne #timeforchange macht die Bundesjugendvertretung (BJV) auf unterschiedliche Aspekte rund um das Thema Klima aufmerksam und setzt sich für Veränderungen ein, die aus Sicht junger Menschen jetzt Priorität haben müssen. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf Mobilität, Energie, Konsum und Beteiligung junger Menschen. Im Rahmen der Kampagne werden in den kommenden Monaten praktische Infos für JugendarbeiterInnen zur Verfügung gestellt, junge Menschen bei ihren Projektideen unterstützt und Klima-Post gesammelt. Highlights werden ein eigener Klimapreis für Jugendliche und eine große Dialogveranstaltung für Jugend und Politik sein. Ein wesentliches Ziel der Kampagne ist es, dass Jugendliche ihre Forderungen an PolitikerInnen herantragen können und der Austausch zwischen Jugend und Politik zu Klimathemen gefördert wird. Die Kampagne wird federführend von der BJV und der Katholischen Jugend Österreich unter Einbindung weiterer Mitgliedsorganisationen und NetzwerkpartnerInnen der BJV durchgeführt.

With their #timeforchange campaign, the Austrian National Youth Council (BJV) draws attention to various aspects of the climate issue and advocates changes that really matter to young people. The focus is on mobility, energy, consumption and participation of young people. In the coming months, the campaign will provide practical information for youth workers, support young people in their project ideas and collect statements of young people related to climate issues. Highlights will include a special climate prize for young people and a major dialogue event for youth and political decision-makers. One of the main aims of the campaign is to enable young people to put forward their demands to politicians and to promote the exchange between youth and political decision-makers on climate policies. The campaign is being conducted under the leadership of the BJV and the Catholic Youth Austria, with the involvement of other member organisations and network partners of the BJV.
