Cradle to Cradle Regionalgruppe Wien
The Cradle to Cradle (C2C) school of thought is convinced that we can do things right. If we start to think in cycles, understand products as nutrients, and see the human potential we could become beneficial organisms. The core message of the C2C school of thought therefore is as follows: Be courageous and leave behind a positive footprint. The Cradle to Cradle design concept consists of three underlying principles, all of which build on the inherent intelligence of natural systems. The first principle says: „waste equals food“. Second, we use current solar income energies for the manufacturing of intelligent, recyclable, and innovative products. Finally, the third principle urges us to „celebrate and promote diversity“ – plurality is a huge advantage. Our mission is to educate people on C2C and foster a lively C2C network in Vienna and surroundings. Therefore we meet every two weeks for our regional group meetings, where we discuss current matters and deepen our knowledge on C2C through experts speeches, workshops, and field trips. Furthermore, these meetings provide possibilities for networking and to support our work (e.g. planning of events). If you too would like to leave a positive footprint and engage in our activities, feel free to contact our speakers, Raphaela & Kate, for further information: wien@ehrenamt.c2c.ngo . As a member, you receive access to our network, information material, tools, and other possibilities. Also, you are contributing to a healthier, more fair, and truly circular economy. All of the more than 800 members of C2C NGO are volunteers. As a charitable and donation-based organization we depend on every donation (C2C NGO - GLS BANK: DE74 4306 0967 2036 5496 00).
... let’s move forward and bring it back to the cradle!
