Der Biber war lange Zeit nahezu komplett ausgerottet und begegnete uns nur noch in Büchern oder als Stofftier. Heute findet man ihn jedoch wieder häufiger – dass heißt v.a. seine Fraßspuren. Es dauerte einige Jahre, bis die beiden Naturfotografen Bettina und Christian Kutschenreiter von einer zufällig entdeckten, wildlebenden Biberfamilie akzeptiert wurden und diese in ihrer Gegenwart ein völlig ungestörtes Verhalten zeigte. In den letzten 17 Jahren verbrachten sie tausende Stunden hautnah mit der Biberfamilie und erlebten unzählige, einzigartige Momente mit allen Höhen und Tiefen. For a long time, the beaver was almost completely extinct and we only encountered it in books or as a stuffed animal. Today, however, it can be found more often again - especially its feeding traces. It took several years until the two nature photographers Bettina and Christian Kutschenreiter were accepted by an accidentally discovered wild beaver family and the beavers showed a completely undisturbed behavior in their presence. Over the past 17 years, they spent thousands of hours up close and personal with the beaver family and experienced countless unique moments with all their ups and downs. The lecture offers you the opportunity to get to know these wonderful, sensitive, intelligent and lovable animals with their distinct social behavior. Through the closeness to the animals, the numerous experiences and adventures, an absolutely unique insight into the life of the beavers is conveyed.
